Anna Attie is a writer, educator, and community organizer from New York City. Her journalism has been published in In These Times, South Side Weekly, Inside Higher Ed, and other publications. Her poetry appears in The Offing, Sinking City, Flypaper Lit, and the lickety~split. She is currently working on a collection of linked short stories.

Anna’s work has been supported by the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop and the Tin House Workshop. She currently lives in Ann Arbor, where she is pursuing an MFA in Fiction at the University of Michigan’s Helen Zell Writers’ Program.
